56.4 North American Indians Born in Canada.


A North American Indian who has already made an entry into the United States, and is residing in this country, may apply for a Permanent Resident Card at a district or local office of USCIS . In considering the request, follow the same procedures as those set forth for persons making application at a port of entry. See Chapter 23.8 of this field manual and Chapter 11.3 of the Inspector’s Field Manual .
