Sec. 327.2 Procedure for naturalization.
(a)
Application
. An applicant who is eligible for naturalization pursuant to
section 327
of the Act and
§ 327.1
shall submit an Application for Naturalization, Form N-400, in accordance with
§ 316.4
of this chapter. Such application must be accompanied by a statement describing the applicant's eligibility under
§ 327.1(a)
,

(b)
Oath of Allegiance. Upon naturalization of the applicant, the district director shall transmit a copy of the oath of allegiance taken by the applicant to the Department of State.
