“In a period of less than two years, I have been rewarded for my service through a series of promotions and exciting opportunities. I joined USCIS as a Presidential Management Fellow in the headquarters Office of Communications and was hired to support the USCIS Internal Communications Program. Based on my performance, I was promoted to Manager for Internal Communications. I became interested in pursuing job opportunities in one of the USCIS operational directorates and found one that was right for me in the National Security and Records Verification Directorate. Within a few short months, I became the Special Assistant to the Chief of the Verification Division. Hard work and commitment to excellence paid off as I eventually assumed the role of Chief of Staff for the Verification Division.”
