Q : I received a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mismatch, what should I do?- You are not required to take any further action after receiving a mismatch from Self Check but resolving a DHS mismatch now gives you the peace of mind that your employment eligibility records are in order.
- If you wish to resolve a DHS mismatch, you would need to call DHS. The guidance titled “Notice of Mismatch” provides a set of detailed steps on how to do so and it will be provided to you selected to follow up on your potential mismatch.
- Users who receive a DHS mismatch can contact a DHS call center, 855-804-0296 for service between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Eastern Time.
