Video of Independence Day Naturalization Ceremonies

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) commemorated America’s 234th birthday by naturalizing more than 3,800 new citizens at approximately 55 special ceremonies held across the United States and abroad. Nine of these ceremonies were specifically for members of the U.S. armed forces and military spouses.

We have created a video highlighting five of the 4th of July naturalization ceremonies celebrating “A Spirit of Independence.” The ceremonies include:

  • Ellis Island, NY
  • Kennedy Space Center, FL
  • USS Midway, San Diego, CA
  • Independence Hall, PA
  • Mt. Vernon, VA
