WARNING: Some websites will offer to sell you downloadable forms available on this site for free. These sites are not affiliated with USCIS and may not have the latest versions of our forms. In some cases, use of older forms may result in your application or petition being denied or delayed. The latest version of these forms is always available on this website.
Most of our forms can be filled out on your computer using the latest version of Adobe Reader. If you do not already have Adobe Reader, you may download it for free using the corresponding link to the right.
Some of our forms can be filed electronically. For information on which forms can be filed electronically and how to file see the “File My Application Online” link to the left.
E-Notification: If you are filing your USCIS forms at one of three USCIS Lockbox facilities located in Chicago, Phoenix, and Lewisville, TX., you may elect to receive an email and/or text message notifying you that your application has been accepted. You must complete Form G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance, and clip it to the first page of your application. See the corresponsing link under "More Information" to the right to download Form G-1145. USCIS will notify you within 24 hours of accepting your immigration form, and will send the official paper receipt notice, Form I-797C, Notice of Action, to you (or your representative) via the U.S. Postal Service. Please note that e-Notification does not grant any immigration status or benefit, and may not be presented as evidence that USCIS has granted you any immigration status or benefit. Receipt of the transmission cannot be used as supporting evidence for other benefits. Please read the filing instructions on each form you are submitting, to determine where you should file them, and on Form G-1145 for additional guidance. Some forms must still be filed at USCIS Service Centers or Field Offices. These locations do not have the capability to provide e-Notifications.
Note: When a USCIS form is due to expire, the form and any changes must be reviewed by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). If a form expires while it is being reviewed at OMB, the form may still be used. Once a new edition is available, the USCIS website will be updated to ensure all useable editions are listed.
