Accessibility Release Notes

Note: This content applies only to paying the USCIS Immigrant Fee and e-filing Form I-526 and Form I-539 in USCIS ELIS.

If you have a disability and use assistive technologies, you may not be able to use all of the features in the current release of USCIS ELIS at this time. Future releases of USCIS ELIS will have improved accessibility features.

In the meantime, you may continue to file Forms I-526 and I-539 through:

We are aware that:

  • PDF/A files are not fully accessible. Until we can resolve this issue, please use Adobe Reader 7.x or higher to read the PDF/A files in an accessible format. The Adobe Reader plug-in is available through a link in the bottom banner of each USCIS.gov Web page.
  • Currently, the help index, glossary and many types of general or content-related searches are not fully accessible. To work around this issue, refer to the "USCIS ELIS Help (Accessible PDF)" link on the top of each USCIS ELIS page.

  • The type of accessibility problem you are encountering;
  • The name and location of the material you are unable to access;
  • Your preferred material format;
  • Your contact information.
