E-Filing Form I-90 Using USCIS ELIS

Form I-90 E-Filing Help and Support Resources

Beginning in April 2015, USCIS will process all Form I-90 applications in USCIS' Electronic Immigration System (USCIS ELIS). A USCIS online account gives you an opportunity to track the progress of your request electronically, even if you file a paper application. If you filed a paper Form I-90 with USCIS, but do not have an existing USCIS online account, an online account will be automatically created for you.

If you filed a paper application, you will receive a USCIS Account Acceptance Notice with instructions on how to access your USCIS online account. A USCIS online account allows you to:

  • Check the status of your application,
  • Receive notifications and case updates, and
  • Manage your contact information.

NOTE: USCIS will continue processing your Form I-90 in USCIS ELIS even if you choose not to access your USCIS online account. You will receive notifications and updates about your application by mail through the U.S. Postal Service.
