E-Filing Payment Problem Corrected and E-Filing Outage Planned

USCIS e-filing has experienced sporadic problems with payment acceptance since an unexpected power outage at our data center over the weekend of September 12-13, 2009.  We have received payments continuously, but some users report an inability to pay for filing.  On September 17, several of our processing systems were restarted and appear to be working properly.  We expect this action to resolve the issues that users have been experiencing.

 

There will be a scheduled outage at our data center that will affect all user systems, including e-filing, on Friday and Saturday, September 18 and 19.  We will perform monitoring and troubleshooting following the outage to ensure the processes are correctly started.  Please forward any inquiries or problem reports to
