The U.S. Embassy is located in Central Rome, and is easily accessible from Rome's major railroad stations by taxi, bus, or subway.
We accept most filings by mail. If you need to visit our office for certain services, you must email us at USCIS.Rome@uscis.dhs.gov to make an appointment. Bring a copy of your appointment notice and a photo ID to access the Embassy.
This office does not accept walk-ins.

Private parking places are available in the area.

Large bags, such as:

There are no storage facilities on the grounds of our facilities.
Only person(s) seeking consular services will be admitted into the U.S. Embassy or Consulates General. Exceptions will be made only if those seeking consular services are under 18, or if they are disabled and require assistance. Applicants who do not follow these instructions will experience considerable delays at the security check point.
