Robert Law, Chief Office of Policy and Strategy
Rob Law is the chief for the Office of Policy and Strategy (OP&S). He began his role on Feb. 3, 2020.
Experience and Achievements
Law joined OP&S in 2017 as the senior policy advisor to then Chief Kathy Nuebel Kovarik. In this role, he oversaw the development and implementation of regulations and policy memorandum, and provides technical assistance on immigration legislation. Before joining USCIS, Law was an immigration policy attorney for five years, assisting lawmakers with drafting immigration legislation and providing public comment on immigration policy. Previously, Law worked as a policy attorney for an energy company and spent several years litigating federal regulatory compliance cases.
