Paula Thomas is acting chief of the Civil Rights and DEIA Office (CRDO), with responsibility for overseeing the USCIS Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program and the agency’s diversity management and disability accommodations.
Experience and Achievements
Before joining USCIS, Thomas served as the EEO and Diversity director for the National Taxpayer Advocate Services at the Internal Revenue Service and as the deputy director of Equal Opportunity Programs at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Education
Thomas has a Bachelor of Science in public administration from Medgar Evers College at the City University of New York and a Master of Public Administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice at the City University of New York.
