USCIS' Havana Office Remains Closed as a Result of Hurricane Ike; Houston and Harlingen, Tex., offices watching storm's track

MIAMI—U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced today that its Havana field office remains closed as a result of Hurricane Ike. 

Meanwhile, the agency’s offices in Houston and Harlingen, Tex. are currently open; however, officials will continue to reassess the situation depending on the storm’s movement.  We will announce potential office closures as soon as possible.

USCIS will automatically reschedule all appointments until a time when it is safe to resume operations.
