E-Verify is Listening: Making Changes You Suggested

When E-Verify launched our crowd-sourcing site E-Verify Listens two years ago, we asked you to share your ideas and feedback. With more than 130 ideas and over 250 comments posted to date, you met the challenge. Already, we have completed 11 of your ideas, including the very popular E-Verify Duplicate Case Alert released on June 22.

We’ve also:

  • Placed the E-Verify Listens link on the E-Verify user homepage;
  • Redesigned the E-Verify Participation Posters to use less ink; 
  • Updated the Further Action Notice for Web Services Users; and
  • Added the revision date to the footer of the Handbook for Employers, Guidance for Completing Form I-9.

E-Verify monitors your feedback and researches ideas that meet program and policy requirements. E-Verify Listens is an online forum where users can submit and discuss ideas, as well as vote for their favorites. E-Verify is a free, web-based service that allows employers to quickly confirm the employment eligibility of new employees. Form I-9 is the Employment Eligibility Verification form that employers are required to complete for every new employee. Employees can find many answers to their questions in the one page Form I-9 Employee Information Sheet.
