National Customer Service Center Experiencing Technical Difficulties

Our National Customer Service Center (NCSC) toll-free number is currently experiencing technical difficulties due to an outage of one of our communications providers. Some customers may have difficulty connecting with live assistance, be disconnected unintentionally, or have longer than usual wait times. We are working to resolve the problem as soon as possible and apologize for any inconvenience.”

As a reminder, USCIS provides online tools that are available 24/7. Customers can use:

  • Case Status Online to find out the status of their case or sign up to receive automatic case status updates, or
  • e-Request to inquire electronically about applications and petitions submitted to USCIS
