Citizenship Multilingual Resources

This section centralizes USCIS citizenship publications and resources available in other languages. Select one of the languages below to find these resources as you are preparing for U.S. citizenship.

Certain applicants, because of age and time as a lawful permanent resident, are exempt from the English requirements for naturalization and may take the civics test in the language of their choice. For more information, see the exceptions and accommodations page and the USCIS Policy Manual Citizenship and Naturalization Guidance.
