2.3.5 SSA/DHS FINAL NONCONFIRMATION AND DHS NO SHOW

2.3.5 SSA/DHS FINAL NONCONFIRMATION AND DHS NO SHOW

An SSA or DHS Final Nonconfirmation case result is received when E-Verify cannot verify an applicant’s employment eligibility after the applicant has visited an SSA field office or contacted DHS during the TNC referral process.

A DHS No Show indicates that the applicant did not contact DHS within eight federal government working days. If the applicant does not contact DHS, E-Verify will automatically issue a DHS No Show after 10 federal government working days have passed since the case was referred. A DHS No Show case result is considered a Final Nonconfirmation.

Once a Final Nonconfirmation has been provided, you must close the case.
