If you are filing for an extensions of stay for A-3, G-5, or NATO-7 nonimmigrant, contact your embassy, international organization, or NATO command for proper filing through official diplomatic channels.

All Other Form I-539 Filers

Use the address below for all other Form I-539 filings, including:

  • Change of status from A, G, or NATO classifications to another nonimmigrant classification (once the applicant has received an endorsed Form I-566); or
  • A Form I-539 filed separately from a principal’s Form I-129, with the exception of:
    • A Form I-539 filed by an H-4 spouse of an H-1B nonimmigrant or filed concurrently with Form I-765 for category (c)(26); or
    • A Form I-539 filed by P-4 dependents of major league athletes or support personnel.
