USCIS Will Launch Organizational Accounts and Online Filing for Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, for H-1B Petitioners
In February, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will launch online organizational accounts and make Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, available for online filing for H-1B petitioners for fiscal year (FY) 2025.
What You Need to Know
All legal representative account holders and all organizations with an H-1B registrant account, as well as new users, will experience new account enhancements, including improved design and case management features.
H-1B petitioners will be able to file Forms I-129 and associated Form I-907 premium processing requests online through their organizational account, have a legal representative file online on their behalf, or file a paper-based Form I-129. The H-1B registration process is only available online.
USCIS conducted usability testing on the organizational account with individuals who serve a variety of roles in the H-1B registration and petition filing processes, including employers, human resources personnel, attorneys, and paralegals. The feedback received resulted in enhancements to content and improvements in interactions and functionality throughout the organizational account.
USCIS will continue to seek feedback from users of the organizational account and release enhancements to the experience in the future.
For More Information
USCIS will host two national engagements on organizational accounts on Jan. 23 and Jan. 24, as well as several smaller sessions leading up to the H-1B registration period to help guide organizations and legal representatives through the process. During these sessions, individuals will have the opportunity to ask questions about the organizational accounts in preparation for the FY 2025 H-1B registration period and the launch of online filing of Form I-129 H-1B petitions. USCIS encourages all individuals involved in the H-1B registration and petition filing process to attend these engagements. Invitations to these engagements will be sent later this month. Visit our Contact Public Engagement page to subscribe to notifications about upcoming engagements. Additional details regarding organizational accounts will be available on the H-1B Electronic Registration Process page.
