National Asylum Engagement
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will hold an in-person national asylum stakeholder engagement on March 6, 2024, from 2-3 p.m. Eastern from the Arlington Asylum Office located at 1525 Wilson Blvd, Suite 300, Arlington, VA 22209. We will broadcast the engagement nationally at the same time. A separate invitation for joining virtually via Microsoft Teams will be sent via GovDelivery.
As a local organization supporting the asylum community, you are invited to join us in person for this national engagement. This invitation is non-transferable.
The format of the engagement will include updates from asylum leadership followed by a live question-and-answer session. All USCIS speakers will be in person.
If you would like to join us in person, you must register by Feb. 20 at 4 p.m. Eastern.
To register send an email to amanda.atkinson@uscis.dhs.gov with the subject line “RSVP: In-person Asylum engagement March 6” and provide your full name and organization.
Seating capacity is limited. Once we review registrations, we will respond with a confirmation email to acknowledge that we have space to accommodate you in person. Our confirmation email will include instructions for when to arrive and what documentation to bring to be admitted to the building. We ask that organizations limit the number of in-person participants registering for the engagement to two people.
