USCIS Public Charge National Stakeholder Engagement December-20-2022

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invites you to participate in a virtual stakeholder engagement on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Eastern on the Public Charge Ground of Inadmissibility final rule that will go into effect Dec. 23, 2022. The final rule provides clarity and consistency for noncitizens on how the Department of Homeland Security will administer the public charge ground of inadmissibility. During this engagement, USCIS will provide an overview of key provisions of the final rule. Representatives from federal benefit-granting agencies will also participate.
