Instructional presentation of the Entrepreneur Parole Program hosted by USCIS on June 16, 2021.  International Entrepreneur (IE) Parole provides a framework for DHS to use its parole authority to grant a period of authorized stay, on a case-by-case basis, to foreign entrepreneurs who demonstrate that their stay in the United States would provide a significant public benefit through their business venture and its potential for rapid business growth and job creation.
On April 14, 2021 and April 29, 2021, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Public Engagement Division (PED) held stakeholder engagements to discuss Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) for Venezuelans. During these webinars, USCIS provided an overview of TPS and DED for eligible Venezuelans, explained eligibility requirements, and shared filing tips. We responded to questions submitted in advance and via chat during the webinar.

Instructional overview of online filing of Form-1-765 Application for Employment Authorization, for F-1 students seeking optional practical training (OPT). This event was hosted by USCIS on April 22, 2021. On April 12, 2021, USCIS announced that certain F-1 students can now file the Form I-765 online. Online filing allows applicants to submit forms electronically, check the status of their case online, and receive online notices from USCIS.
