USCIS Online Account Overview for Afghan Nationals to Prepare for New Re-parole Application Process

Monday, May 15, 2023 | 2-3:30 p.m. Eastern

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services invites you to our national engagement on how to create a USCIS online account on Monday, May 15, from 2-3:30 p.m. Eastern. Beginning in June, Afghan parolees who arrived in the United States through Operation Allies Welcome (OAW) and other means will be able to apply for re-parole and employment authorization online and via paper under a new streamlined application process.

USCIS encourages OAW parolees to create a USCIS online account now to prepare for online filing, once available, as well as to update their address, and for those who have not already, to consider applying for more permanent immigration status, such as asylum and special immigrant visa-based lawful permanent residence. The engagement on May 15 will provide an overview of the online account and guide individuals on how to set up an account.
