USCIS Fiscal Year 2023 Citizenship and Integration Grant Program

Tuesday, June 27,2023 | 1 – 2 p.m. Eastern

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services invites you to take part in a webinar on Tuesday, June 27, from 1 to 2 p.m. Eastern, to discuss the Notices of Funding Opportunity for the fiscal year 2023 Citizenship and Integration Grant Program.

The Citizenship and Integration Grant Program provides funding for citizenship preparation programs in communities across the country. The program will provide up to $25 million in grants; an increase from $20 million in Congressional funding last year.

These competitive grant opportunities are open to organizations that prepare immigrants for naturalization and promote civic integration through increased knowledge of English, U.S. history, and civics. In addition to the traditional programs that fund citizenship and English acquisition classes, the 2023 grants also include opportunities for creative and innovative approaches to overcoming barriers to naturalization and expanding access to citizenship education and preparation services.

During this session, USCIS officials will provide an overview of the grant program and respond to questions about the application requirements and process.
