Employment Eligibility Webinars

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) offers the following free employer training to explain and demonstrate how to complete Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification:

Our webinars and presentations provide instruction to business owners, managers, human resources specialists, payroll administrators, and all those interested in compliance with federal requirements for employment eligibility verification.

Webinars

The webinars are live Internet-based seminars that you can attend without leaving your office. Our webinars are interactive, so you will have the opportunity to have an open dialogue with the presenter and ask questions. Form I-9  and E-Verify free webinars (except for E-Verify in 30 and myE-Verify) are eligible for professional development credits (PDC) through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).

Form I-9 Overview Webinar

Learn about Form I-9 requirements, step-by-step instructions on how to complete each section, acceptable documents, retention and storage, and an overview of E-Verify. Useful for all employers. This webinar is eligible for 1 professional development credit through SHRM and HRCI.

Employee Rights Webinar

This joint webinar hosted by USCIS and Immigrant and Employee Rights (IER) discusses employee rights and anti-discrimination provisions during the E-Verify and Form I-9 employment eligibility verification processes. This webinar, useful for workers, worker advocates, job seekers, and employers, is eligible for 1 professional development credit through SHRM and HRCI.

Employer Responsibilities Webinar

Employer's Responsibilities, a USCIS/ICE/IER joint Webinar - An overview of employee responsibilities during the E-Verify and Form I-9 employment eligibility verification processes.
