Chapter 12 - Waiver Authority
USCIS may provide waivers for some medical grounds of inadmissibility under INA 212(g) and other provisions governing the specific immigration benefit the applicant is seeking. In certain cases, applicants must file a waiver application  either along with their Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status (Form I-485) and Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record (Form I-693) or in response to a Request for Evidence.
